Christenings
Baptism (sometimes called “christening”) is a special way to welcome people into the church family. It’s a sign of new life, a new start. It’s also a confession of faith, of hope and love.

Affirming your faith if you're already baptised
If you've been baptised and want to make the baptism promises for yourself, and commit your life to following Jesus Christ, you may wish to consider being confirmed.
During the service the local bishop will lay their hands on your head and ask God’s Holy Spirit to give you the strength and commitment to live God’s way for the rest of your life. The Church of England's website has more information on confirmation, but if you would like to be confirmed do get in touch.

But the Christian hope and assurance is that in the Resurrection of Jesus we have the promise of a new and better life, life without sorrow or mourning.
