The Mission Community considers the care and protection of children, young people, vulnerable adults, and all involved in church activities or visiting the church as the responsibility of the whole church, local, diocesan and national.

The Exmouth Cum Littleham and Lympstone Parish Church Council has therefore set out and works to a Safeguarding Policy whilst working closely with the Mission Safeguarding officer.

The care and protection of children, young people, vulnerable adults, and all involved in church activities or visiting the church is the responsibility of the whole church.

Everyone who participates in the life of the church has a role to play in promoting a safer church for all. Our safeguarding policy is in accordance with the policies of the Church of England and the Exeter Diocese and can be downloaded here.

If you have a concern about possible abuse involving a church community member, please contact Sarah Clarke, our Safeguarding Officer: safeguarding@excc.church

Please Download our Safeguarding Policy.

We believe that Jesus is good news which our country and the whole world desperately needs. We know how transformative the gospel is in our own lives and that of so many others. Jesus said that he came to bring us ‘life in all its fulness’. Our vision is to see quality of life in our different communities.

We would like to welcome you into our warm and friendly church community.

Our church community is made-up of a whole range of people. Some people grew up with the Christian faith. Some people heard the gospel and discovered the difference God makes later in life. Some people have recently ‘come back to faith'.

Some people come looking for answers, others for support, others again may be new to the area and looking for a church to be part of. Frequently, our help is needed for a baptism, wedding or funeral. Whatever your reason for visiting us, you are very welcome.

If you are exploring the idea of faith we’d love to chat with you about that, or if you would prefer to listen as part of an ‘exploring’ group, there’s often an “Alpha Course” about Christianity in one of our three linked churches. Please contact the office on 01395 263681 and one of our team will be in touch shortly.

If you have any questions do get in touch.
